As I'll always say Music has a massive influence on my life. Cannot live without it. Music is my backbone. Musical Genres I like Electro & Indie-Rock. Not so long ago I was a fan of a lot of rock based genres including Emo-Punk. I know, I know but bands like Jimmy Eat World, Avenged Sevenfold, Motion City Soundtrack, Boxcar Racer - Still a fan of their album, Saosin, Brand New, Billy Talent and what will always be my favourite band from my childhood - Blink 182. No matter what people say, they created damn catchy songs. The day they broke up was a sad day for me and many others. But I eventually moved out of the Emo pharse and went onto Indie. Bands such as Arcade Fire, The Cribs, The Maccabees and Modest Mouse are good examples. Then there is the bands and artists that'll always be loved by moi: The Clash, Joy Division, Johnny Cash, The Smiths, Led Zep, Kraftwerk and The Jam.
The likes of Erol Alkan, Boys Noize, Kissy Sell Out and Digitalism have opened my eyes to the world of electro. The world of electro is a very fun world. Much preferred to the world of Emo because that world tends to be rather depressing and you tend to look on the more depressing side of life. Its better than the world of Indie because in the world of Indie, the people associated with that scene are more on the arrogant side, more interested in how they look than how having a good time. Where as everywhereI've been thats had an electro element to it, all people what to do is have a good time. Why would I wana ask for more?
